Core Lessons contain four sections - vocabulary, picture, grammar and listening comprehension. Each lesson is based on a different contextual theme (e.g. Hometowns, Music, Government and Politics). At the end of the lesson you receive feedback about your most common grammar problems and suggestions for additional study.

Listening Skill Builders improve your ability to understand spoken English. Each Listening Skill Builder begins with pre-listening exercises to prepare you for the vocabulary and grammar used in the dialogue. At the end of each exercise you will take a true/false listening comprehension quiz and a dictation.

Reading Skill Builders improve your reading comprehension. Each Reading Skill Builder is based on a different theme and starts with a reading tip. At the end of each exercise, you will answer three multiple choice questions about the reading selection.
