Each of your lessons is accompanied by an interactive discussion
area. When you need just post
your question or inquiry in the appropriate course discussion area,
where the instructor, his or her teaching assistant, or one of your
fellow students will respond.

Which Internet browser do I need for these online English Courses?
You need Netscape Navigator or Microsoft Internet Explorer, version
4.0 or higher, to use this online course. If you are an AOL customer, you
should have the latest version of their browser. You can download any
one of these browsers for free.

Do I need any special software for these courses?
You need RealAudio in order to complete listening exercises. It is
available from
RealAudio at no charge. In order to play the interactive
games in these courses, you need Macromedia's current Shockwave
Player. This is also free download. When you begin your online
English course, you will be told whether or not you have all the
necessary software to continue. If you do not, you will be directed
to the proper Web sites to download what you need. All software
needed to take these courses is free of charge.
